Quotes
Send a quote before you commit to work. Track its status, share a public accept link, then convert it to an invoice in one click.
Create a quote
Quotes look and behave like invoices — same fields, same PDF, same currencies — but with their own numbering (Q-YYYY-NNN) and an extra “valid until” date.
- Go to Quotes → New quote.
- Pick a saved client (address auto-fills) or type one in.
- Add line items just like an invoice. Use Fixed total for a bundled project price.
- Set the “Valid until” date so the quote auto-expires if untouched.
- Save. A unique quote number and a shareable public link are generated.

Quote statuses
- DRAFT — you're still working on it.
- SENT — visible to the client via the public link.
- ACCEPTED — client accepted; ready to convert.
- REJECTED — client declined. Terminal.
- EXPIRED — passed the Valid until date. Terminal.
- CONVERTED — turned into an invoice. Terminal; the quote stays for records.
Convert an accepted quote to an invoice
Once a quote is ACCEPTED, use the 3-dot menu → Convert to invoice. A new draft invoice is created with everything copied over — items, client, currency, business info, payment methods. The quote is marked CONVERTED and links to the invoice for future reference.
Common questions
How is the quote number generated?
Format is Q-YYYY-NNN with a per-year auto-incrementing counter. You can override it manually before saving if you follow a different scheme.
Can I regenerate the public link?
Not yet — the public token is issued once when the quote is created. Delete the quote and re-create it if you need a fresh link.
Can I record payments on a quote?
No. Convert it to an invoice first, then record payments there. Quotes are commitments, not billable documents.
